Our Leadership
Paula Masters, Co-Founder and President
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Paula Masters is truly a reflection of the power of faith, hope and love in a life lived for Christ. These significant attributes have been well-learned, uniquely qualifying her to lead 1in3Trinity as President.
With a solid merchandising and management background, Paula will oversee design, day-to-day operations, strategic and financial planning, and marketing of 1in3Trinity’s branded clothing and accessories. Paula brings to the business more than 20-years of leadership experience in the fashion industry—from buying to retail merchandising and marketing —where business travels have taken her to New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami Beach, as well as overseas to Hong Kong, Thailand and India. In addition to taking responsibility for the overall operations of the business, she will direct and design many of the signature pieces under the 1in3Trinity brand.
“I have met so many awesome people over the course of my life,” shares Paula. “Each individual that God put in my path—whether for a reason, a season or a lifetime—has brought me to where I am today. I do not take any one of them for granted. My hope is that I can give back all that I have been given…”
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Paula moved at an early age to Norman, Oklahoma, where she and her three sisters grew up. She stayed in Norman to attend the University of Oklahoma, receiving a BBA in Marketing in 1985. Paula soon married her high school sweetheart and moved to Dallas to begin a career in the fashion industry. It was not long afterwards that Paula’s grandmother died, leaving a lasting impression on her. “At the core, I have had Christ in my heart since a very young age,” Paula says, “but I really turned my life over to God when I was 21. With the passing of my Grandmother, I realized I was not in control— He was.”
From that point on, Paula’s career path in the fashion industry bloomed. Starting off as a merchandiser’s assistant for Mervyn’s department stores in Plano, Texas, she soon became assistant buyer for Margo’s, a Dallas woman’s specialty store in 1986. Margo’s was a subsidiary of Elder-Beerman department stores. After 10 years in the Dallas market and moving her way up to Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Paula stepped out in faith and went to work for Elder-Beerman in Dayton, Ohio, overseeing the chain of department stores where she served as Vice President of Juniors for the operation.
Commuting and traveling for business for three years was exhausting, so Paula returned to Dallas in 1999 to help administer a branded merchandising strategy for Gadzooks, a trendy specialty store targeting teenagers. She served as Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Officer, then as President and Chief Merchandising Officer for Gadzooks before the company was sold to Forever 21.
“I have always believed if you do what you love and are passionate about it,” Paula affirms, “by faith, the rest will follow. In my heart, my hope and vision for our company is to offer people relevant fashion that impacts their lives in a positive way. 1in3Trinity is the perfect place where fashion meets truth—and where art expresses God’s love.”
Like many, Paula’s life is not without personal tragedy. Her husband of twenty years passed away suddenly in 2004, following her unexpected change in employment and her father’s ill health. As a Christian, Paula feels you reach a point in time where you grow up and mature in your faith—especially when you encounter real hardships in life. “These last few years I have experienced a lot of heartache; yet during this time, I also experienced enormous spiritual growth,” says Paula. “I recently realized that it is through these emotional challenges in life that Christ draws me nearer and nearer.”
Troubles, disappointments and challenges are still to be expected in a life of faith. Paula is a member of Fellowship Church Grapevine where she currently serves in the church’s Youth Ministry, encouraging students to release the power of God in their own lives to overcome personal troubles. “When we as Christ followers encounter bad experiences, others can clearly see Christ’s lifelike nature in us, despite what is happening around us,” Paula states. “This is God’s strategy for His ministry through us, using His power and strength through our weakness.”
“Also, it is our hope and desire at 1in3Trinity to minister to others by using God’s power and love through our positive line of branded clothing and accessories. We hope many will come to realize that nothing compares or could even come close to knowing the love of God.”

Lori Y. Norwood, Co-Founder and Vice President
“We live by faith, not by sight” (II Corinthians 5:7).
Lori Norwood is living a life built on faith, and brings that positive attitude with her to 1in3Trinity, serving as Vice President.
Lori will oversee sales for 1in3Trinity merchandise in the hip and trendy Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Well-versed in the fashion world, Lori brings a balanced perspective to the fashion line from both a retail and wholesale viewpoint. Not only is she familiar with the world-renowned apparel markets in New York, Las Vegas and Chicago, Lori has had first-hand experience on the showroom floor at the Dallas Apparel Mart for more than five years.
“It has been my hope that 1in3Trinity communicates God’s love,” says Lori as she begins to help craft the foundation for the essence of the brand. “In individual appointments, I have the opportunity to show our stylish faith-inspired clothing and accessory line to fashion buyers from all over the world. In those meetings, I especially hope to show my faith in all I do and say.”
Lori, one of three girls, was born and raised in a Christian environment in Norman, Oklahoma, and attended the University of Oklahoma before coming to Texas in the early 1990’s. Following marriage and work at the Dallas Apparel Mart, their first daughter Brianna was born. Lori was then active in a local Presbyterian church, serving in the church’s children’s ministry and attending Bible studies, both of which helped her get through some difficult times during the early loss of her mother and challenges in her marriage.
“I want others to know if my husband and I didn’t have Christ in our lives, we would not have made it through the rough times,” shares Lori. Soon after all the challenges, Lori and her husband were baptized and joined Fellowship Church before their second daughter, Trinity, was born. “Fellowship Church has strengthened our walk with Christ. I did not become a Christ follower because Christians are such grand examples; today I choose to follow because of Christ and what He personally did for me.”
Confident of the positive impression 1in3Trinity is going to make on others, Lori works closely with many fashionable boutiques and innovative churches all over the country. In addition, Lori is well-known for her creative ability to produce high-impact Fashion Shows for charities and many other organizations that raise money for worthy causes.
